ONE AND A HALF DAY IN MILAN
In this post i’ll show you all the places i have visited during my trip to Milan in the summer. As you can see by the title, i’ve only spent there one and a half day so we couldn’t go everywhere we wanted and i’m kinda sorry about it, but definitely i’m planning to go back! I hope this post will be an inspo for some of you <3
DAY 1
Okay sooo we took a flight from Bratislava to Milano - Bergamo (Orio al serio) and since this airport is not situated in the city centre or very near the city we had to use an airport transfer - there were bunch of companies, so you don’t have to be worried about your transport. They’re leaving the airport almost every 20 minutes and the journey took around one hour. The destination was Stazione centrale. We were lucky, because our hotel - Hotel Stradivari was located few minutes walk from the station. I can say only positive things about this hotel - clean rooms, nice staff and perfect location (1 minute from metro station Loreto)
PATTINI
The fact we had sephora and this little bakery just across the street was very dangerous and it’s not surprising that we ended up there xxd
Rest of the day we were just walking around and exploring our neighborhood - we followed Corso Buenos Aires and visit some shops..
VOGUE KIOSK - Via dei giardini (near Monument to Sandro Pertini)
I spotted this cute vogue kiosk but unfortunately it was closed - the 2nd pic is from the other day...already with my little purchase from Furla store
PIZZACOTECA DI BRERA
We ended up our day in the district of Brera where we enjoyed our dinner…it was so delicious!
DAY 2
DUOMO DI MILANO
Did we get up at 5:30am just to take pics with Duomo? Yes we did…There’s not much i have to say about this magnificent building, it’s probably the first thought when somebody say "Milan". Definitely worth seeing!
GALLERIA VITTORIO EMANUELE
The only thing i can say about it - WOW. I really didn’t want to leave this magical place..
PANINI DURINI
YES FINALLY - breakfast! That avocado toast with sweet pepper was so yummy, recommend!
MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO
Past the great exhibition this spot on the top floor is really famous and instagram friendly haha! Amazing view..
DUOMO ROOFTOP
Definitely worth seeing! BUT there’s an option to go there by stairs or by lift. I recommend you to buy tickets for a lift because 250 stairs in such a small enclosed space isn’t very pleasing experience. Tickets are available right next to the Duomo - on the right side
TERRAZZA APEROL
I was really looking forward to enjoy my fav drink in this place! We were really lucky because we accidentally arrived 5 minutes before an opening time so we were first there :D
SPONTINI
Ok, best pizza EVER! Ultimate MUST….guess which one is mine xd
SAVINI
Delicious ice cream in the Galleria Emanuelle..
VOGUE KIOSK - Corso Venezia
Another pretty vogue kiosk. I was trying to find it almost one hour... y'all already know the address <3
To complete the list.. we visited La Rinascente, Quadrilatero d’oro - for some shopping.
